Our first task was to pick up the jet skis from storage at the marina. Yes, that is me sporting a very sassy wet suit for the occasion. The water was around 53 degrees, so not exactly summer weather yet, but we still had fun!
Then John, (Jeremy's Dad), gave us the best boat ride around the lake. It definitely put me right to sleep... soooooo relaxing!
On Sunday night Jeremy was the chef, and made a lovely three course meal: bacon wrapped shrimp with a creamy chipotle sauce, hickory smoked steak tacos with avocado and cilantro (see the meat tenderizing process below), and a dessert of mini chocolate lava cakes! It was tasty!

On Memorial Day we had Jeremy's grandparents and Uncle Dave over for lunch....you might notice that the activities are somewhat centered around meals...but they were all pretty tasty!
Grandma Mary and Grandpa Bob Siefer. When we got in line to make our plates for lunch, Grandpa Bob said, "No, you go ahead Rory!" And I said back to him, "No, No, Grandpa Bob, age before beauty!" And then I thought, wait, isn't that what he is supposed to say to me...yea, that really wouldn't be a nice thing to say....I think I just complimented myself. I'm going to have to work on that one for next time! =)
